When I first introduced Sunny, my parrot, to his new home, I imagined we’d be exchanging charming conversations in no time. However, I soon learned that building our connection was more of a winding road than a straight path. Looking back, it’s amusing to think how, during that first week, Sunny preferred to observe me in silence while I rambled on, desperate for any sign of interest.
